Being an enterpreneur always faces the inevitable first problem: where to get the fundings? Well I was surfing the Net (as I do every day every hour), an UK website came across.
If you want to commercialize your research, here is something for you (但是好像只有在UK)
The BBSRC (Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council) is supporting 150 postgrad students and postdoc fellows to commercialize their bio ideas every year. They give you guidelines, introduce you business knowledge and skills, provide specialists and social network to help you build up your business plan for your idea.
People are already seeing bio as a potential growing (money-making) industry and willing to sponsor new ideas and innovations. 所以發揮創意吧，今天你實驗室裡的小小byproduct可能是明天大家都想要的閃亮之星呢!
